Tear in flexible soil pipe

I have one of these from Toolstation that I am using to connect the toilet to the soil pipe.

It's used in a rarely used toilet in the outer building of our house. The room is usually heated.
However, I have now had two of these tear on the flexible part of this pipe.

The toilet is someway away from the soil pipe and is at a different level. The flexible pipe was very handy in this respect.

Not sure if it's the cold that causes the damage or whether there are some rodents that get into the pipe...

Use McAlpine branded ones, the plastic on the flexible part is thicker and more durable

I am using most of the 700mm length. McAlpine don't do one that is long enough.

Flexis are horrid things- can you extend the soil pipe so it gets nearer the loo (maybe with one of these https://www.toolstation.com/adjustable-bend-0-900/p57275 if line or level are a problem- had to use one in a similar situation after a bathroom fitter thought an unsupported flexi running uphill was the ideal solution)

That'll be why its failing. If it's fully extended and unsupported it'll just crack.

Is the connection running uphill or down? If the latter, could you not just extend with rigid soil pipe?

The connection from the toilet to the soil pipe is downhill but only just

That's the bit that goes into the soil pipe end.

Also, will this cope with a slight incline from toilet to soil pipe? I think this may have the effect of raising the level between the soil end and toilet connection.

Push an offcut of soil pipe into the socket end, your trap adaptor will go into that.
That's the joy of those adjustable bends, you can set each adjust to a degree or so to flatten out the run.
If you're linking to cast iron, just use one of these https://www.toolstation.com/flexible-connector/p25396 and a length of soil pipe to suit, there's a few degrees slack in those rubber couplers. Nowt stopping you using it on placcie tbh
