Thread size and type

Anyone know the type and size of thread for the small screw in pic below?

I want to order some to replace the ones the previous owner has painted over. Don't think they're metric.

you need to measure them, very accurately.

Also, measure the length of the threaded part, and count the number of threads on it.

None of us can do it from here.

you can post a close-up of it against a steel measure if you want.

unless it is very old, or American, the thread is most likely to be metric.

Ah ok, I thought they were all pretty standard, like the radiator threads, etc.

Hang on a second, why not simply put in a small pot of paint stripper or meths to get the paint off (not too long or it will start to corrode)?
And if needed then give a light sand or polish.
