I doubt that anybody can tell you just from the photo. But you could measure the diameter and thread pitch, and try to identify it from on-line data.Anyone?

Hang on a second, why not simply put in a small pot of paint stripper or meths to get the paint off (not too long or it will start to corrode)?order some to replace the ones the previous owner has painted over.
