Hi folks, had kitchen plastered and it was finished on two weeks ago this Friday.

Most of it has turned pinkish and there's a few brown patches left.

Have used heating to speed up the process as well as ventilate the room but it feels like it's taking ages.

Need to paint then fit kitchen so sitting around scratching my head.

How long does it normally take to dry?

Cheers

That's what the plasterer said but then he said it's drying quickly so not needed.

Won't drying it too quickly with heat and / or dehumidifier cause it to crack?

Get summer fan on as will speed drying up vs heat.
Air movement is better than heat.
Paint when dry. I plaster and paint after 2 days but deeper skims can be 2 plus weeks. When it looks dry it is. You can feel the damp in new builds hence they use contract matt to allow drying to continue through paint but if you want a durable paint don't use contract matt to prime
