Is it just me that thinks it’s NOT strange that most of the usual posters on this forum that are quick to shoehorn into any thread any item of news that seem to them to be detrimental to the U.K. or pro EU items are noticeably absent from this one?

One of them has even posted in this thread but not even seen fit to comment on the thread topic!

Had the 'EU' won yesterday, I’m sure they would have been putting up threads of their own saying how good they were and how shît we are. Just sayin'…..

Exactly they are probably disappointed that the Germans did not win

If England had lost there would have been endless graphs showing how EU countries put more money

I'd rather watch the women's game than a load of poncey blokes falling over

As I touched on earlier, my concern for the women's game is this sort of thing (falling over after zero contact) might start to creep in over the coming years if the women's game does continue to grow as I suspect and hope it will. With greater public and media attention, combined with larger salaries and a greater need and pressure to win (on various levels) it's not impossible 'tactics' like this might start to appear.

I did wonder for a moment if the display was "taking one for the future of women's football", as she may have raised men's interest in following it, by a couple of points.
You could tell she thought twice about it, maybe she should have thought thrice. It was lovely to see her so obviously delighted, but anyone who even comments on it will be forever cast a women hater.
