JG Aura 230v Thermostats call for heat at midnight for 5 minutes!

I have the same problem with my Aura configured as a wireless paired single room PRT controlling underfloor heating. I have reset the timings without any unprogrammed slots. I have set party mode to zero and as soon as timing hits midnight on the auto/night setting it turns the boiler on for 5 mins.

You have noticed this thread dates back to 2015?

The timer offers 6 options. I have just set to 0700, 0900, 1700, 2100, 2200, 2230. So there is no reason why it should call for heat at 0000-0005 on Saturday only. Maybe Speedfit will understand the logic?!

I have exactly the same problem. I wondered if you managed to find out why this happens.

Exactly the same problem with these JG thermostats here too, 12:00-1205pm it’s a heating party for no reason at all!

I have the master heating timer on constant as the thermostats are supposed to be running the show correctly, so I’m going to reprogramme that to be OFF between 11pm and 1am to see if that at least stops the heating coming on via all these annoying thermostats!

Love to know why this is happening and how to stop it though…

And ask him/her/it.
I asked Salus technical why 3 out of 5 that I fitted kept un-pairing, they said that ic could be that the customers kept an ironing board in the same cupboard as the receiver, that is no joke they actually came out with that and the rep got the remaining 20 I had back the next day for a refund, terrible terrible company

I’ve taken the central timer off constant for heating and so it’s off between 11pm and 6am everyday, so let’s see if that stops the midnight 5 minute heat up around the house from all these silly thermostats calling for heat!

My go to line with them was...
You've more chance of picking up radio 2 on it!

I have just contacted JG regarding this problem and apparently this is a default setting on the thermostats to stop the valves/pump seizing if the system wasn't used for a while. This can be overridden by changing D07 1 to D07 0 on the thermostats. I've now done this on all thermostats so will see what happens next Saturday.
