Bit of a gross one. Sorry! Lifted the inspection panel on the manhole for the bathroom today and found a massive blockage of toilet paper and waste. Managed to dislodge it and it happily flowed down the waste pipe. Rinsed it out, did a test flush with some paper and by the time I got to the inspection panel the paper had stopped in the same place, middle of the inspection area before the drain pipe flows out of sight.
I can't see any rough edges it's hooking on. Is the water flow too weak perhaps? I was trying to find if I can replace the entire waste pipe section but I've no idea how to find one to replace it, if I even can!
Any advice on how to get it to drain properly or replace it would be most welcome. I don't want to think about lifting it once a week and washing away the blockages.
