Waste inspection not draining properly

Bit of a gross one. Sorry! Lifted the inspection panel on the manhole for the bathroom today and found a massive blockage of toilet paper and waste. Managed to dislodge it and it happily flowed down the waste pipe. Rinsed it out, did a test flush with some paper and by the time I got to the inspection panel the paper had stopped in the same place, middle of the inspection area before the drain pipe flows out of sight.

I can't see any rough edges it's hooking on. Is the water flow too weak perhaps? I was trying to find if I can replace the entire waste pipe section but I've no idea how to find one to replace it, if I even can!

Any advice on how to get it to drain properly or replace it would be most welcome. I don't want to think about lifting it once a week and washing away the blockages.

Photo would be useful, but if there's no obvious point waste can catch on then it's looking likely you've got a poor fall (gradient) on the drain. Only solution to that is probably going to be to relay the drain.

Will grab a photo in daylight tomorrow. Sounds like a poor fall could be to blame but surprised it's not been an issue for previous owners until now.

Any advice on how to relay the drain? Can't imagine it's an easy job to do - or if we can even get a new inspection set to lay as it's lots of terracotta pipes and concrete.

Has the WC been replaced in recent times? I have to wonder if there was a older WC fitted, with traditional 2 Gallon flush, that was enough to wash everything through, now been replaced with a new WC, with a lot less powerful flush, and that is part of the issue. Unlikely the drain has moved, so issue was either present before or something else has changed to cause it.

Good advice, I didn't get the time to check today but will look into that as well!
