Hi

Currently getting building work done and have plans for washing machine in garage. Builder has fitted a waste connection to the inspection chamber for this... I assumed it would be via a boss into the new soil pipe that he fitted but instead it's been done via a hole and silicone.

Is this acceptable?

What a twit, especially when there's clearly a pipe running along the wall! And he's pretty much ruined the IC unless you can reseal the hole that he's made.
