Finally figured this out if anybody was looking for a soution.

On the menu which is presented on the dashboard binnacle is an option for HUD (head up display). In here you can switch it off or on.

Now when I drive the car in the dark, I don't have to be lit up and contend with the glow of a TV screen in my view!

It tells me what date it needs to see a garage (as well as the mileage)....that's over due as I did it myself but can't reset the service indicator so there's alarms and lights flashing everywhere. Triumph will sort that for £70.

On some vehicles, it's just a matter of shorting two pins on the OBD plug, for a period of time. Company car, when it went for a service, always had to go back in - because they never bothered resetting it.

It's a single button on mine, marked 'OFF', I never turn it off though, I just put it on the nav screen..
