People just needed to understand what was actually written, and not conflate it with what people seemed to think was written.

He picked his "30's Germany" fully knowing what the associations were - ie with the disgusting Nazis.
They weren't just a bit right wing,
in the 30's they persecuted, and opened up concentration camps for people from the population in order to subjugate and kill them.
And they burned people out of their houses.
And the speeches, in the 30's, in Germany, extolled the virtues of doing so.
Our government, which I'd like to change ASAP, is not saying anything like that, are they.
Anyone who denies the blatant connection he made is not being honest.
