Bosch washing machine reset

Its a Bosch Classixx 1400 express.

Can anyone tell me, if its possible to do so, how the washing machine can be reset please?

A quick Google search suggests that the only reset is to turn the unit off for at least 10 mins. That said, it was the first link I came across.

Why do you need to reset it?

I wanted to try a reset to resume normal operation.

The heater hasn't worked for long time despite a new heater element, thermistor and water level sensor.
All wires have checked out with my meter!

Of late, Cotton wash cycles don't finish and go onto Rinse. I've had to time the wash then move the dial to Rinse/Spin.

Now today on 2nd wash, the motor has started to pulse on wash cycle.

I'd say the programmer failing.

I am only guessing, but have you checked the brushes and commutator.
