Convert a mains shaving mirror to be battery powered lamp, preferably with led?

We had a fixed illuminated shaving mirror in our bathroom which became redundant when the bathroom was was redone. Is it possible to alter this to work as a table lamp with a led bulb and batteries? I do enjoy a project and don’t like throwing things away.

Any thoughts/ideas will be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance.

Cut a cable & plug off an old appliance and use that to plug into a socket

How about you post a picture of what you got??

If you had a 3D printer you could easily make the LED surround, the stand etc.
Other than that I'd get the finished one of Amazon and use the mirror itself for things like looking under floorboards etc. lol
