Hi
At the moment I have solor powered led globe lights fixed along my fence at around 2metre intervals.
What I am after doing if I can is to get the lamps to be powered from my house electric and do away with the solor element.
My house is at the start of the run and the last lamp is about 20 meters away.
Just to add the solor globe lamps etc are made of plastic so obviously heat would be an issue but wondered if somehow this could be done.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Most of these use re-chargeable cells to store the power collected during the day. If these are two AA or AAA cells then the lamps can be supplied with three volts DC after the batteries have been removed.

Either solder leads to the battery contacts ( most reliable way but prevents the lamps using batteries in the future ) or make a set of dummy batteries out of dowel and a couple of drawing pins with the leads soldered the the underside of the drawing pins.
