Hi, I wondered if someone could help me urgently please. This morning I have had water dripping in a straight line from my downstairs ceiling after my son had a shower. Decided to take the bath panel off and have a little look (not the greatest at DIY so unsure what I was looking for) from what I've seen it looks as if some water has got down the side (there's a few tiles with cracked grout at the moment and the seal round the edge of the bath isn't the greatest) but as I said I'm not the best at DIY so unsure exactly what I'm looking at. If someone could please see the photos attached and just give me some advice please that would be really appreciated. The water downstairs has stopped dripping now but I want to prevent this from happening again as there are important things in the living room below I don't want to get damaged. Anyway sorry for my babble any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Now you've got the panel off ,spray the wall with the shower and you will soon see where its leaking from .

Thank you I will try that, just anxious at causing more leaking and damage downstairs!

One person spraying the hose around, a second person, with a torch, looking under the bath. That should minimise the amount of water spilled.

There are clearly gaps in the wall tiling and failed grout in your picture. Water will penetrate through there without a shadow of a doubt. Could well cause the adhesive that holds the tiles to the wall to fail , particularly if the adhesive is not cementitious, and needs remedying sooner rather than later.
The silicone sealant around the bath rim / tile surface should be removed and resealed. Is there a shower screen fitted ,or is a curtain used ?
Judging by the vertical water marks under the bath, water escaping from above may have been happening for some time ,unless they are historic.
