Reform lead the polls

How do you think the things around you - the schools, the roads, the emergency services, the NHS............................... - all came into being and are still there for you?

Fromage has the luxury of being able to spout any old gammon-rousing horseshoite he fancies, safe in the knowledge that he'll never have to make good on any of his piffle.
It's all just an ego and lining-his-own pockets trip for him.
No different to any party that's in opposition then ;)

No different from any other politician then?
Very different from labor who are in government with clear policies on the nhs, economic growth, housing, the silicone valley, Terminal 3 etc. Meanwhile Kami Karzy tells us she doesn't think media interviews are a core part of her job, fiddling while torey central smoulders.

If the country is insane enough to vote for a reform government then turn off the lights because it's goodnight
I think you might be slightly missing the point, same old **** for the last 50yrs!
Its no wonder people will be looking for something different.

Mbk might want to read and understand this extract.....

But it’s a billion times worse if you go there with a film crew. Because, today, you have to list everything you’re taking and its value and its serial number. Every lens. Every cable. Every reflector. Every 4×4. Everything. And then, after you’ve spent several days doing all that, you pay a company thousands of pounds to put it all on a form, which is called a carnet.

It's exactly the same if you take a van with tools and parts. Absolute nightmare, just not worth the effort, so less business, directly because of brexit
I'm sure that most working class people who voted for brexit had a hard time weighing up the possibility that leaving the EU might just make it a bit more difficult to go to the continent with a film crew.
What is Clarkson on about, you'd think he had to do all these administrative tasks himself.
Which he most certainly didn't.

I used to travel and work around Europe with rally cars and bicycle groups as service and support.

I have a van, with tools and equipment. I have to go through exactly the same procedure of listing every item in the van, with serial numbers where relevant, for every trip. On the way in, and out.

It's not worth the time and effort. So I don't do it any more, the work has gone to others, based in the EU

Clarkson as ever speaks from a personal even selfish perspective, but reflects the fact that the country as a whole has suffered economically. Brexxers are in denial about this when it doesn't affect them personally. Putting self before country is the opposite of patriotism.

Reform would do no better, no worse than the current crop, red or blue.

Fromage isn't in opposition.

Anyway, enough of your swerve : how do you think the comfortable and safe world around you exists?
Or were you just spouting rubbish again?
That's why I typed 'no different to' ;)

Who set these checks up, and why do they demand it?
Are you on about both sides - uk and eu - so 4 in total for the trip?

It was Brexit voters who set those checks up.

There are customs borders between every trading country which has different regulatory jurisdictions

U.K. has different regulatory jurisdiction to the EU Single Market, so checks are inevitable.

The Single Market made all countries within it operate the same regulations….so that removed the need for checks.

Unfortunately you are a Brexit supporter who doesn’t understand how the single market works

I thought an ATA carnet was valid for a year precisely to stop the need to keep listing everything each way every time? I’m sure that’s what someone I know who works in the EU regularly uses and takes his van and tools abroad. I’ll have to check with him next time I see him. What paperwork were you using?
