I came here before SF but found the SF site easier to navigate at the time and the electrical forum here was very quiet in comparison to SF.

I lost interest in SF because the mods/admin changed and were trying to make names for themselves, so I told them to shove it and closed my account with my details removed.

You mean they turned into jobsworths?
 
There's a little gang of jobsworth nutjobs here, they all come on first thing in the mornings in a little pack and spam the threads with bolox.

To be fair, they did tell you via personal message that you were on the naughty mat, more than this lot do.

SF also removed the facility to contact each other via private messages and a whole host of issues because they got abused.
 
There was a good bloke here who I got on with alright but he has gone I think. It got pretty bad on here, the bullying got out of hand. They just banned him from every thread he would post on. This place ain't all that

The good ones have sorta gone quiet in the last few weeks

He'll be back. The mods tend to lock people out of threads (I'm banned from 2 at least) but I've never heard of a permanent all out ban. At least one maybe two moderators posts on here but are not identified as mods or admin.
