us (UK) as seen by them (USA)

Its odd, that i had not even seen a gun until i was nearly 50 & i started clay shooting. It took 4 months to get a licence & i enjoy the sport. In the UK they are very strict on guns & we get around 26 killings a year. & the USA thousands a year. I got into an argument with a lodger at my own house & he said i am reporting you to the police saying i hit him. Yes/No i barged him out my way. The police came, i got locked up for 6 hours & the next day the fire arms officer came & took my licence & £800 gun. Cant even apply for a licence again for 5 years. We also have crap UK laws.

It captures the little quirks of UK life that locals stop noticing, but visitors find fascinating. Some points are exaggerated for humour, but overall it’s a nice reminder of how our culture looks from the outside. Thanks for sharing, it definitely brought a smile!
