there’s no rule about “couples” in relation to premium bonds, it’s not possible to have premium bonds in joint names

I have full amount in my name
My wife has full amount in her name

Total = 2 x max

The ones in my wife’s name got £75 this month, in my name a measly £25

Poor gas can’t work out that I move money around……that’s the benefit of premium bonds, it’s as easy as taking money in and out of a bank account.
