I've had a plumber around today to look at the pipework behind the washing machine area. I was hoping that the MDPE piping bringing the water supply into the house could be terminated at the wall, and an elbow joint used to transition to copper piping along the wall, to join with the existing copper piping. The idea being that this would reduce how far it sticks out (initially was around 6cm out from the wall), and would be a better material in terms of heat resistance, as the washing machine can get hot.
What they have actually done is to bend the MDPE pipe, which looks fairly well kinked to my untrained eye, to route the MDPE pipe along the wall, and then gone up from there to join to the original copper piping. So the MDPE pipe sticks out just about as far from the wall (possibly 0.5cm less), albeit in a slightly better position, as well as now appearing to be kinked.
Can anyone advise on whether the MDPE piping is safe as it is, particularly if it may be subject to heat from a washer/dryer? I've tried to show the kink as best as possible.

If this is not safe as is, can anyone suggest a way that this can be redeemed? I'm struggling to see any solution. Any thoughts or advice massively appreciated.
At the moment it feels like I've paid over £250 to make the situation worse, or at least to not improve it in any meaningful way, but hopefully I'm being overdramatic! Previous setup included for reference.
