Seeking amber

So remember folks, when you buy that secondhand car, don’t forget to check each and every bulb as well as every other replaceable item for compliance
You don't have to if you don't want to. Probability of accidents are usually quite low. It may never happen to you to be an issue. I have enough occasions of people crashing into me and attempting to crashing into me to be a non-trivial concern for me. It can happen any time, any day. They don't care.

You don't hear of declines because people would be too embarrassed to admit a decline: luvly jubly, I got declined and I burnt a great big hole in the wallet.

"Faded" top quality german authorised e-mark: E1 bulb, GE brand made in hungary with all the characteristics of a bosch. I don't believe the coating is moisture/water proof, nor is it natural finger-grease proof. It is made to expire long before it fails electrically.

Why don't buy the amber paint and maintain the colour that way? Difficult to get hold of the proper paint though I believe.

Must be something to do with the way you drive. Can’t be anything else. Do you have a licence?

I kinda drive straight. The thing is, a 3 wheeler crashed into my side when my dad was driving. How do you explain that? I had no licence then.

Do these people know you?
No. Someone crashed into me while I was under driving instruction when learning, following all the proper signaling, positioning, etc. Was the instructor carp? No, I went on to pass on the first attempt.

The guy who caused the write off on my E36 crashed into me and ran away even though I was at fault for pulling out in front of a turning lorry. The guy came from the blind side of the lorry. Given how quickly the insurance woman placed the blame on me, something like that appeared to be a common occurrence. It's incredible this scenario wasn't taught in driving lessons.

Is that the same year your skiffle band supported Elvis Presley at the Brixton Academy, or was it the year that you and your army of Hawkmen helped to defeat Ming the Merciless?

Can't say I am into pop music. A more recent attempt on me was by a couple of young women in their renaut hatch. They were beside me at one point. I was going home with my grocery on the A13, like you do. I was steady 50mph and straight in lane 3. They suddenly pulled out into my lane with no prior signalling. It was so close and fast, breaking was not possible. So I swerved into the outside lane. Had there been anyone on the outside, I would have been a goner.

Now, I approach merges with great caution and stay on the outside lane. You can never tell when monkeys will strike. I don't mean the Monkees.

Will live with the new bosch bulbs for now. Next time, it will be glass paint on e-marked bulbs. Thread done in 3 pages and ahead of the 30 page schedule.
