...I just ask my motor factor,
I've always wondered...
Why is it called a motor factor?
Is it because they sell Krypton bulbs?
Why don't we call Tesco 'the food factor' or Superdrug 'the rubber johnny factor'?

...I just ask my motor factor,
You probably mean stick some on the bulb housing plastic.Stick some of this over the glass.

You don't have to if you don't want to. Probability of accidents are usually quite low. It may never happen to you to be an issue. I have enough occasions of people crashing into me and attempting to crashing into me to be a non-trivial concern for me. It can happen any time, any day. They don't care.So remember folks, when you buy that secondhand car, don’t forget to check each and every bulb as well as every other replaceable item for compliance
Must be something to do with the way you drive. Can’t be anything else. Do you have a licence?I have enough occasions of people crashing into me and attempting to crashing into me to be a non-trivial concern for me. It can happen any time, any day. They don't care.
I kinda drive straight. The thing is, a 3 wheeler crashed into my side when my dad was driving. How do you explain that? I had no licence then.Must be something to do with the way you drive. Can’t be anything else. Do you have a licence?
Hindsight is always 20/20. I didn't know about paints until this thread. Why don't buy the amber paint and maintain the colour that way? Difficult to get hold of the proper paint though I believe.

No. Someone crashed into me while I was under driving instruction when learning, following all the proper signaling, positioning, etc. Was the instructor carp? No, I went on to pass on the first attempt.Do these people know you?

The guy who caused the write off on my E36 crashed into me and ran away even though I was at fault for pulling out in front of a turning lorry. The guy came from the blind side of the lorry. Given how quickly the insurance woman placed the blame on me, something like that appeared to be a common occurrence. It's incredible this scenario wasn't taught in driving lessons.
Can't say I am into pop music. A more recent attempt on me was by a couple of young women in their renaut hatch. They were beside me at one point. I was going home with my grocery on the A13, like you do. I was steady 50mph and straight in lane 3. They suddenly pulled out into my lane with no prior signalling. It was so close and fast, breaking was not possible. So I swerved into the outside lane. Had there been anyone on the outside, I would have been a goner. Is that the same year your skiffle band supported Elvis Presley at the Brixton Academy, or was it the year that you and your army of Hawkmen helped to defeat Ming the Merciless?

It's not the money, but my time, and patience. I can't stand b*stards agitating for sake of a couple of £ of profit. All of this over an orange bulb costing pennies ?
