It is illegal and unconstitutional for them to deport US citizens.
He is correct.
The child hasn't been deported though and the mother isn't a US citizen.
The media often uses carefully worded articles to imply things are true when they are not.
They do this because they know that biased people only see what they want to see.

A couple of facts for you.

In USA, if parents are of mixed nationalities, the child cannot be taken out of the USA without the written permission of the USA citizens parents (the father) permission.

There is no doubt either that the child is also an american citizen...........

The child has been taken out of the USA without due process. Whether you agree with deporting the mother or not is irrelevant, the father and the child have rights which were overridden. Illegal and unconstitutional.

There is clearly some doubt and confusion about the issue.

The stupidity of it is that Trump and his officials are creating a very bad reputation for themselves by not ensuring all the appropriate procedures are adhered to.
