It's difficult to see how it could be "taken the right way"?
It derives from an attitude of superiority and the 'fair play' of white western culture.
It's based on a racist ideology.
How is there "a right way to take it"?
This isn't a personal attack, so please don't assume it is. It's a perfectly sensible discussion about an idiom in the language and its underlying ideology.
OOI, what motivated the raising of the issue? I don't disagree with the discussion. I think it's a good discussion to have.
I now expect some to use the idiom at every opportunity
If something or someone is as white as snow, they are perfect or completely uncorrupted and honest
I don’t find it strange, because I am not a racist.
Mottie is still unable to explain why he supports Reform Party.
I’ve asked Mottie many times to explain what policies make him support Reform.A loaded question.
You could ask what factors or policies are important to you when choosing which party to support.
No-one could justifiably refuse to answer, well they could refuse, but on what grounds?
Hey, changethesubject7, this is a thread, started by you, on immigration figures. Keep it on topic. If you want to start a thread on what political parties people vote for and why, start one but don’t forget to tell us first who you support and why.I’ve asked Mottie many times to explain what policies make him support Reform.
He won’t say.
Not really its all information that you freely give outThis is a bit creepy......
I hope you aren't parked at the end of road.
Actually I grew up in Edenbridge, went to Tunbridge Wells for school and had a house and factory in East Grinstead, I only moved to Copthorne in 2008 when I met my wife. I live pretty much in the centre of the village not far from the village green.
I have never said I support reform I gave you a full breakdown about who and why I voted but you ignored it becaue there was a question at the end which wasBy the way, why do you support a party that is openly racist and Xenophobic?
Are you happy that your house price will go down - are you scared to go out at night or to just put your bins out.I don’t find it strange, because I am not a racist.
It is interesting how you and Aveatry are so obsessed about ethnicity in the regions of the U.K., and you both support a party which is openly racist and Xenophobic.
I have never said I support reform I gave you a full breakdown about who and why I voted but you ignored it becaue there was a question at the end which was
who do you support?
- you are obsessed with calling everyone else a trump or reform supporter because they do not support labour but you have NEVER said who you support. it probably because its something like the Communist Party of Britain.

There is nothing wrong with giving reform a vote nor is it a shamefull thing to do. The lefties hate any party that looks to them as ignoring their softly softly and human rights legislation. Human rights legislation has now gone beyond basic human rights and is crippling countries,.Would you give any of the smaller parties a chance. I suppose it would be a wasted vote.
