I need to move the washing machine outside for a while. Electrics, water, drainage all ok. Will be covered with a frame and roof made from left over closeboard fencing. It needs to go in a place currently gravelled.
For a base I was thinking of a paving slab set on 25mm sharp sand, on some DPC, on the gravel. No cement so I can re use the sand and slab after and avoid waste. Use an edging made from leftover batten to contain the sand.
Is this a good idea and strong enough for the spin cycle, any thoughts/suggestions?
