Hi, I have the ABS & Traction control light on, I’ve been told it’s one of the wheel sensors, if I find out which one it is and replace it will the lights go out, or will I need a diagnostic plugin to switch them off? Thanks

As with most self-diagnosed faults, the warning light will usually say on until it has been cancelled via your OBD2 diagnostic port and for that a diagnostic scanner will be needed.
Usually, the warning will go off, after driving a short distance, easy way to find out - try it.
You will likely need OBD2, to diagnose which sensor is at fault, but I devised my own gadget for my car, which uses Hall Effect sensors...
It's just a piezo (high impedance) old fashioned earphone, connected to a ABS splitter (a matching ABS plug and socket). It plugs in line, you rotate the wheel, and hear a series of clicks, as you rotate the wheel with the ignition on.

Well here goes, went to one of the well known tire fitting companies, they did a scan for £55 and diagnosed the right side rear sensor, I ordered it and I fitted it myself, drove around for miles and it didn’t go off? Went back to the well known tire fitting company (ATS) to ask them to plug in and turn off the light, sorry sir you’ll have to pay another £55 !!!! FFS TALK ABOUT FIP OFF BRITAIN

55 ruddy quid TWICE? FFS, that is sheer profiteering. Admittedly, my OBD plug-in diagnostic reader is around 10yrs old, but that cost me a flat tenner and it's still working fine. You can't ripped-off quicker than by a Kwik Fit fitter 
You should have disputed that second charge, as unreasonable - turning the light off, was part of the job of replacing the sensor. Otherwise, how could they be sure they had fixed it?
I don’t think the garage fitted it, it reads to me that the OP fitted himself.

Will that 1 do abs codes ?
Not the way I read it, but if true, the second charge was fair..
Bought one of these, about as much use as a concrete parachute, didn’t show any codes at all….

Some scanners, only show/work with engine codes, and that is what you have. ABS controller, body control, safety system, setting and tweaking options - need something more specialised. I have one, that gives me full control, I can tweak all sorts of settings, via my laptop..
Actually, looking at it properly, I don’t think it will. I’m sure my mate bought one for less than £20 a few years ago to clear an intermittent abs fault code on an old Volvo he had.
I’ve got a Foxwell NT 680 pro and I’ve probably used 3% of its capability! I can’t even remember the last time I used it.
