I’m attempting this and come across an unusual configuration.

Here is the tap

When I remove the lever, I have this

The body of the cylinder is set inside the body of the tap. With previous taps, the body of the cylinder has been accessible at this point. I put my grips on it and away we go.
With this, I then got my ratchet set but the socket isn’t deep enough. I could go looking for a deeper socket but wanted to check on whether I might be missing something.

Thanks in advance.

Magnusson at bnq do a decent deep socket set.
