An artist who first accused Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell of sexual assault almost three decades ago has told the New York Times that she had urged law enforcement officials back then to investigate powerful people in their orbit – including Donald Trump. Maria Farmer, was among the first women to report Epstein and his partner Maxwell of sexual crimes back in 1996 when, according to a new interview with the Times, she also identified Trump among others close to Epstein as worthy of attention.

Farmer repeated that message, she told the Times, when she was re-interviewed by the FBI about Epstein in 2006. She raised Trump’s name specifically because of an unsettling encounter with him late one night in 1995 in Epstein’s offices – which she said she told law enforcement agents at the time and has since recounted publicly.

Farmer said she felt scared as Trump was hovering over her, staring at her bare legs. Epstein entered the room, and she recalled him saying to Trump: “No, no. She’s not here for you.”

They have some very flexible procedural rules in Congress.

A couple of months ago, there was a temporary measure of some sort passed by the Republicans. But the rules said that there must be a full vote on it within a month. The Republicans didn't want that vote. So they literally changed the meaning of time. They said that the day they were currently on would actually last for six months. So, that delayed the vote by six months.

Pardoning a pedo is not likely to convince the maga’s that there is no deep state conspiracy when the person most closely associated with Epsteen is receiving the pardon. Trumpf is either very dumb and/or very desperate.

Someone has leaked that the AG (Bondy) told Trumpf in May that his name appeared in the files. Trumpf denied this when asked more recently if he had been told. It would be surprising if his name didn’t appear given he was best mates with Eppy for so long. That doesn’t mean anything untoward happened but such subtleties don’t play well with the MAG A’s who have reached their verdict first, and are waiting for confirmation of the evidence. The WSJ aren’t going to let this go.

Personally I am more suspicious of the motive around Trump saying its all a democrat plot...given the simple fact that a democrat appointed judge in Florida refused to unseal the grand jury evidence on the case.

Grand jury evidence is supplied by the Department of Justice, they filter the evidence so that it only pertains to the case in hand, Trump asking them to unseal the files would have shown what... nothing, as it was only evidence relating to Epstein crimes not anybody else's crimes... hence his get out of jail was removed... look there is nothing in the court files, I am exonerated.

A suspicious mind would point to the all the files are in the hands of the DoJ and they are doing everything in their power to prevent the release, a conspiracy theorist mind would argue that the democratic led DoJ put all those files in one room at the DoJ as an easter egg for trump... Trump seems to have said as much... its all a democrat plot.

Pam Bondi the Justice secretary is stuck on a very large pole - dammed if she does, dammed if she doesn't and she cannot resign or be fired, to do either would say she has misled somebody.

He wasn't allowed to. The process requires the DOJ to explicitly list what is being released, but they didn't provide it.

It's like applying for a passport without a photo and then acting shocked when it's rejected.

He could'nt - think about it.

If Bondi tells him whats in the files and its bad for trump and covers it up then she is guilty of perjury.
If Bondi does not tell him whats in the files and he fires her her only defence to the senate would be that he fired me before I could press charges.
And on the reverse
Trump tells Bondi to break the law and say pardons her..for covering up a crime - quick political death - Drain the swamp ?
Trump fires Bondi - then she is open to a senate investigation and claims that he fired her before she could press charges. longer death -Drain the swamp.

So they are stuck in a hole... and they are trying evey which way to get out of it, but it has to be together.. each holds the other hostage.
