Think this is the right place for this. I'm sure I am being dumb, but how do I fix the issue in the attached picture? The shower just keeps sliding down now whenever it is switched on.

Many thanks.

The plastic surround is unclipped on top , this is part of the non slip mechanism , it’s been forced down without use of the release button.
Clip it back on and instruct others as to its correct use.

Thanks for the prompt reply, unfortunately the plastic clip is broken, think in the picture you can see that it has broken apart so clipping back in doesn't work.

Cheers.

It's bust ,replace the complete riser rail.
Cool, cheers. Next silly question, how would I get the old one off? I thought the top and bottom bits would slide off but they are attached to the bits that are fitted to the wall. Only thing I can see are one tiny hole right at the top and bottom. The bits attached to the wall have plastic bits on them, not sure if that is relevant. Not sure of make, nothing on it, the bath is Roca, the shower screen is Mira and the overflow is Vado. I think it might be this

Cheers.

The small holes in the squarish shaped parts should have small grub screws, which need an Allen key ( hexagonal wrench) to loosen.

Just a quick update on this. Turns out the slide rail etc. was still under warranty so they replaced the shower head holder free of charge. To replace, the rounded part at the top and bottom just slid off, I could then unscrew the rail from the wall and replace the holder. All fixed now. Cheers for the answers.
