We have a 65" Phillips in the lounge (from RS) and it's perfect; the chimney breast is about half an inch wider on each side. I agree with the height - many people have them way too high but of course that's up to you. We would probably have it a bit lower but we have a fire underneath so had to have that clearance. We've had 2 x Hisense TVs in the last 3 years and they have both been complete garbage. The smart functions are so slow, we've had to buy Firesticks for both of them. The processors (or whatever) do not seem to render sound very well. We had the speakers replaced under warranty twice and it didn't fix the issue, so we gave up. They would fart when there was a lot of sound from the source e.g. explosions, helicopters, roaring car engines. I think the "Amp" inside is probably a 27p unit from a Chinese reject bin.
The Bush upstairs isn't much better, not as bad for sound but the processor is awful. 60% of the time it crashes when you turn it on, and it'll either restart itself or will just go blank so you have to hold the power button to do a hard reset. The sound isn't the best but better than the Hisense ones.
However, on any 4K LED TV, the picture is good enough quality for what we want. So we still prefer to buy a cheaper set and spend a bit on peripherals (Firestick, cheap soundbar or whatever) rather than paying hundreds more for a TV that does everything properly. Putting up with restarts and waiting a bit for boot ups is ok when we know we are saving 800 on the equivalent Sony
