All the above is very interesting.
People seem to be doing ok at the moment.
When Labour was elected to power, there were those in the media and politics telling us that the economy would collapse and bankruptcy and anarchy would follow.
Labour has other challenges, the biggest being immigration, which will make or break them at the next election.
Those who aren't doing so well, are busy job hunting rather than spending time telling others they are doing alright.

My son graduated this year - he is the only one of his year who has got a job. These aren't arts graduates they are business, finance, economics etc.

Years ago being self employed and being employed was night and day
How many years ago are we talking here?
self employed took the risks but got big rewards
Explain how do todays' self employed differ from those of yesteryear in that respect. It sounds like nebulous fluff to me.
. Nowadays becoming self employed is not worth the risk
Eh? Why not? How is it more risky being self employed today than it was previously?
. You don't need to understand
You could start by making (coherent) sense. At least then I could begin.

Sparks probably get tired easier wielding that axe about to lift floor board ;)

I once refurbed a kitchen and utility room, slate floor, re-boarded the ceiling and plastered, more plastering where sparky ran new sockets etc, then decorated before fitting the new kitchen. Owner of the house then asked the electrician to run some additional cables to upstairs so sparky had a look round before saying, bad news, I'm going to have to cut an 18inch hole in your new ceiling, the utility room was still in the early stages and I said I can't see the problem. He said he can't access the floorboards upstairs where he needed access. I asked him to show me where he couldn't access the floorboards, turned out there was a wardrobe where he wanted the boards up and he didn't want to move it, said it's heavy and it's full of clothes and stuff.

I gave him a good talking to.

I would rather take a ceiling down than move a wardrobe its what we are taught in college

too many questions to answer there. If you don't understand then you dont understand. No one else seems to be struggling.

Righto billy.
Why do you have to come onto a thread to purely cause problems ? You have to see the bad in everything, you and your little club of trolls are such trouble makers. Just go do one I cannot be bothered. with you. Not noticed anyone else having your issues with this thread. Just you because you have embarrassed yourself with your low turnover figures that you have admitted to. If you need to borrow a tenner just ask.

More waffle.

I've been self employed for decades and don't see the point you are attempting to make. Why don't you just answer the queries. Where is the harm in that?

Minute we lifted carpet and seen states of boards you just knew a spark had been at work majority of them absolutely no idea how to lift a board without damaging them

why dont you just ask one at a time, I think it is pretty obvious the point that I am making.

He thinks it's better to be employed than self employed
