I think it's more likely that project 2025 is connected to Trump: he's just the huckster, selling ideas of Evangelical Christian and far right groups. I don't think he gives an f. about ideology; he just wants power for its own sake, enjoying the attention, the adoration of the crowd. If it causes outrage and kerfuffle among the ranks of progressive Democrats, a;; the merrier as far as he's concerned.
I wish i could remember those halcyon days when his orange fizz didn't fill the screen. His treacly tones seeping through the airwaves like a miasma of misfortune bestowing dread and awe in unequal measure.
