And her solicitor would know this too so is he going to be struck off?

FWIW our son is buying his first home - the documents his solicitor sent him to read and sign were crystal clear about the declarations being made.

So this saga is rather smelly to say the least

And, I've bought and sold three houses in my life, and have done little more than sign where I had to.
