Angela rayner tax dodger again...

Do you really believe that? Everybody knows buying a 2nd home attracts the higher levy on stamp duty

And her solicitor would know this too so is he going to be struck off?

FWIW our son is buying his first home - the documents his solicitor sent him to read and sign were crystal clear about the declarations being made.

So this saga is rather smelly to say the least
Yes, because a legal trust was involved which invited legal implications which she took advice on. A second opinion was then taken when this all blew up, and she acted on that. Did she make all that up? That strikes me more as straight talking and honest.

Just accept that just this once motorbiking was right. Even he can't be wrong all the time.
He claims she evaded paying stamp duty on a second home

But he also claims:

She is also reported to have transferred her interest in her Manchester home to a trust

Poor Motorbiking can’t make his mind up how many homes Angela has.

She’s confessed you idiot.

You are making yourself look silly again.

It appears you don’t know the rules, requiring the additional tax.
Does Angela Rayner have ownership of more than one home?

The rules on the additional tax you mention; depend on your answer…..so off you toddle, there’s a good chap

Do you know that the criteria for stamp duty on a 2nd home is you actually owning a 1st home.

So will ask you again: how many houses does Angela Rayner have ownership of.

By the way, Please can you provide verbatim where Angela Rayner says “I confess to deliberately evading tax”

It’s not about “ownership” it’s about “interest”.

You do not own your house (assuming you are married) you have an interest in it.

If you left your wife and bought another house. You would have to pay 2nd property tax on your new home. (As did I). If you subsequently fully transfer your interest, within the time limit, you can claim it back.

If you don’t you can’t.

It is emerging that AR has a nesting arrangement and this likely includes a lifetime right to live in the home. That is an “interest”.

Sorry not sorry you are wrong, as usual.

That’s because you would own 2 properties.

So nothing to do with Angela Rayner case…..so why did you mention it?

If she sold the house to her sons trust, would she be liable to pay rent back to the trust? or is that rent free like her London flat?

Oh hell Notch is going to make himself look like a complete prick for the next 20 pages with MBK slowing taking the micky out of him and I have run out of popcorn.
I am sorry that MotorGrifting is wrong.

If only he researched the topic thoroughly before posting…..he could save some embarrassment.
