Those are the solicitors acting as the trustees. They are distancing themselves. Has AR ever said that they were the ones who advised her on her own tax affairs.

When you accountant does your end of year tax, do you pay the amount he calculates….or do you decide it’s tax evasion if that’s what you pay

You sign the tax return and pay it and when HRMC decides that it's wrong it's not the accountant they go after it you . Yet again you are struggling with deliberate and ignorance . At least Ange now realises she is liable and no one else

Well, this is what the government says:

Tax evasion is where there is a deliberate attempt not to pay the tax which is due. It is illegal. We will pursue those who engage in evasion, with serious consequences for those who don’t pay all the tax they owe, from financial penalties to criminal conviction and imprisonment.

So, it appears obvious that if somebody innocently follows the advice of a tax adviser, then it is not tax evasion.

I doubt that will stop some on here, though, who struggle with facts and basic English.
