I am fitting a new kitchen sink. I am looking for 2 flat faced full bore isolating valves I can connect to my tap tails.

I have found these but I am not sure if they are full bore. How do you tell if theg are full bore?

I understand I can use tap tails to place in between the isolating valve and the end of the tap tàil to avoid damaging the rubber seal in the tap tail against the sharp edge of a standard isolating valve but I am trying to minimise the number of joints, if possible.

Thanks

I dont think they are full bore. If your system is main pressure then I'd hardly worry about it.

The quality would be my concern.

Full bore is quite obvious by its fatter body, allows it to take the larger full bore ball valve.

You can make any ISO valve flat faced by putting some 80grit paper on a hard flat surface and rub the end of the valve over it keeping it flat and square, the valve's are brass so quite soft and it will have a flat face in no time.
