Met police reporting significant aggression directed towards them at the 'peaceful' rally.

Salt of the earth these Yaxley Lennon supporters.

Imagine holding Yaxley Lennon up as someone to be admired. Deary deary me.

By whom? Antifa and Hate Not Hope, I would guess.

Let's see if the number of arrests approaches that of the Plasticine Action rally last week, which was 10% of the size of this one.

Protesters forming the "Unite the Kingdom" march have gathered in Whitehall where they are hearing a series of speeches from people including Donald Trump's former strategist Steve Bannon.

The Metropolitan Police said nine people had been arrested for various offences and added there had been "significant aggression", with some officers being "attacked with projectiles" .

Meanwhile, the Met estimates about 5,000 people have joined the nearby counter-protest organised by Stand Up To Racism (SUTR).

and

The Met said some officers had been attacked while trying to keep the groups apart.
"Officers are having to intervene in multiple locations to stop Unite the Kingdom protesters trying to access sterile areas, breach police cordons or get to opposing groups," the Met said on X.

Let's see the arrest numbers, in a week or 2, after they have been caught up with.

The PA protestors got themselves arrested on purpose by wearing a T-shirt that said "I support PA". Otherwise, they were just sitting peacefully.
You replied to my short post yet missed this bit?

Oh, I get what you're saying. You're saying it was 'mostly peaceful'.

Yes, the large number of arrests does not reflect that it was mostly preaceful. The overwhelming majority were arrested for a very specific offence under s13 of the Terrorism Act.

Most of the posters on here who get called "extreme left" or "socialists" are essentially Blairite centrists.

There are, however, plenty of Reform supporters on here. And everyone acknowledges that Reform are to the right of the Tories. I wouldn't call Reform "far right", though. Some call them "populist right".

Then there are a few on here who are to the right of Reform.

I am not political in the slightest, yet get labelled as a right wing supporter. Not sure as I have my own beliefs and ideas so maybe they align with the right more than the left, who knows? I think politics is getting like religion and is just creating problems and hate.

I most seriously doubt any of those in this forum, whom you freely call some really nasty names,

Nonsense; i'm a model citizen of probity and repute.

will be attending, or supporting, such a far-right rally. I cannot say the same with any confidence, about those who claim support for the left.
Guess again 'arold.
