The RNLI get called out by the Coastguard if required.

The RNLI get called out by the Coastguard if required.
So the coast guard are on constant patrol - they see a dinghy in our waters and pull alongside --- "are you in distress" --- "Yes" --- "ok hang tight we will call the lifeboat for you"The RNLI get called out by the Coastguard if required.
That's because you were begging the question. That is, presupposing an unproven premise.A point utterly unrelated to the question I asked![]()

No, they don't patrol at all, good question though. So the coast guard are on constant patrol - they see a dinghy in our waters and pull alongside --- "are you in distress" --- "Yes" --- "ok hang tight we will call the lifeboat for you"

Seriously? No, generally that isn't what happens.Or do we go and apprehend them because the are illegally entering our territory and we then detain them in a secure location. Is that what happens, is that how our government protects its citizens from unknown persons.

Can’t you read? My point is they don’t risk their lives travelling across any other European land borders to get from one safe country to another. So is the UK. So Are the countries they travelled through to get to France. What's your point?
Of course they do. Their whole journey is perilous, especially for the more vulnerable, weaker ones. Can’t you read? My point is they don’t risk their lives travelling across any other European land borders to get from one safe country to another.
Don't despair, you're getting there. Keep that focus and the light will dawn.I queried whether that should include those facing torture; an obvious and logical follow up question.
A lorry driver is charged with£10k if he brings an asylum seeker across, so why do the RNLI get away with not being charged?I have stoped giving anything to the RNLI free economic migrant taxi service, they should charge the government for these "rescues" £10k a time if they must do it.
So walking from safe Italy to safe France to safe Germany is perilous? Grow up.Of course they do. Their whole journey is perilous, especially for the more vulnerable, weaker ones.

?Grow up.

Begging the question - presupposing an unproven premise... Can you spot where you might have done this? I've given you a tiny hint, see if you can spot it.
What, specifically, is nonsense? Your lack of evidence that boat arrivals face death and torture if returned, or that if you keep your focus you'll get there in the end?I knew what you were getting at.
I am just pointing out that it is argumentative and defletionray nonsense.
