If anyone is fit and moneyed it's the young men who can cross at least one continent and an ocean at a cost of £20k - £40k. I'm not convinced that many of the homeless are either young, healthy or capable of looking after themselves. That is a completely different issue. We house asylum seekers because we don't allow them to work, claim benefits or otherwise fend for themselves. The government seems to believe that young, healthy British people can look after themselves through a combination of work and the benefit system.

What makes me laugh is the number of right wingers who are suddenly worried about the homeless and the sick.
When will Starmer resign? Before Christmas?
I have already posted but its analogy of the effectiveness of the current Government so fits here as well.

Hmm. Haven't we been here before with the other lot? I'm getting a strong sense of deja vu.
Next election may not be until 2029
By which time Reform councils will be in a total mess
I can't see any grounds for a judge to refuse someone being returned to France.
You can bet they'll be working on it though.
I am glad we live in a country where the rule of law is respected.
Not sure 1,00 illegals sneaking in per day is respecting the rule of law.............................but there you go.
Just shows how sh1t Labour are for people to want Reform.
We’ve got a lot more sh1t to come from this disastrous Labour shambles.
You clearly don't know what the rule of law means.
