Both are vehicles.
Use the right words and maybe you'll understand.
A pilot could be a civilian pilot, a military pilot, a fighter pilot.

But a sniper is someone who targets their victim from a concealed position, and usually out of range of detection.

Every other vision that you have of what a sniper is has been created by the movies that you have been watching.

No need for me to read the definition of a sniper and to find out the similarity of a tank commander, that is something for you to try and figure out. So you can't differentiate between a tank commander and a soldier who crawls through grass dressed in camouflage?

If they're accurately targeting their victims from a concealed position, they're snipers according to the definition.
No amount of your abuse will ever change that.

A sniper drone fits the description perfectly for a sniper.
Accurately targeted and fired from a concealed position, out of range of detection by the victim(s).

Highway Man is convinced that they must be dressed in camouflage, and crawled through the grass. :giggle:

I am a military trained commercial drone pilot and hold a commercial drone pilots licence, I think I know.
 
Drones have been in use in the military for years, they are now becoming very advanced weapons which all army's across the world deploy.
