First time poster! As the weathers getting colder, I’ve started putting the heating on. However, the towel rail heater in the bathroom doesn’t seem to be coming on.
I watched a YouTube video of what to do (yes I’m useless at DIY). All I’ve done so far is turn the bottom left valve anti clockwise (it only moved about a millimetre to be fair). I also unscrewed the bleed valve a touch. Nothing hissed but cold water came out immediately.
Anything else I can try/do? Interestingly, the pipes at the bottom, feeding into the radiator, are stone cold… Heating works fine throughout my flat otherwise. If it makes a difference, it’s a new build place, only 2 years old.
I removed the TRV (Pegler Terrier) - the pin is inside the head, but not sure how rigid it's meant to be?
