I'm in the process of sorting my leaking dormer roof and replacing the existing valleys with a dry valley system. Having watched several videos and read through a few threads on here I haven't been able to find anything that shows me what I need. I have installed valley boards flush with the rafters and although not shown in the image the fascia has been installed along with the next tile up. I'm fine with how most of the layering goes in terms of soaker, eaves tray and membrane for the main dormer and original roof but can't get my head round how the valley membrane terminates. When installing the valley membrane where does it go where it meets the fascia and original roof ?

Not sure I have worded it well but hopefully you get the idea of what I am trying to find out. If it was just terminating in a gutter I would be fine with what to do but having the dormer is really throwing me.

Thanks in advance for any guidance provided

We had a *#%€$ing job similar…..

You need to look at the lead dipping under the valley and support/weather it better it then might need another piece of membrane fitting and another course of tiles before adding the valley bottom soaker, but it’s not easy to tell, with the levels etc.
All I know is we used a lot of big lead to make damn sure it didn’t leak!
