Hello,

I'm having to move a light switch in my kitchen. And to save having to exstand and chase out new cable, was thinking of just install a receiver light switch.

1. Is this this right type?
2. Is it a case of just swapping the connector block in the light with the receiver one ( see picture)

You'd need to leave the original switch permanently on or disconnect the switch wire cable at the light.

I cant quite see what wiring you have at the light is it just 1 cable?

How many cables at the switch?

There's two coming into the light fitting.
And just one in the old light switch, which I have already disconnected.

So could I potentially remove the wire all together as the old light switch box is to be filled in?

Thanks for you reply

Update, mean two twin and earth
Abd the light switch is
Brown in com
Blue brown sleeve switch live in L1
Earth in box terminal

So is there a possibility that the light fitting gets its feed from the light switch and not the unit

That's right yes, sorry I didnt see this reply.

Remove the switch wire cable and wire the feed into the receiver then feed the light from the receiver, pair it with the switch and put the switch where you like, job done (y)
