Caller ID giving wrong time

Now then all.
I've had to make the jump from copper to fibre broadband and I've gone with Kcom who could offer a landline service too. Due to the change, I've had to replace my phone because the old one's caller ID wouldn't work on system - apparently it's a thing if they are over 10-15 years old.
My new phone's caller ID (Motorola CT202) gives the number but for some reason tells me the call was over 10 months ago.
For example, I tested the phone 23/11/25 at 15.00. The caller ID said the phone call came through 04/01/25 05.00am. Ringing 1471 gives the correct time.
I set the time and date manually on the phone and as soon as a call comes in, it rolls back the time. Rang again 23/11/25 at 15.10 and time rolls back to 04/01/25 05.10, so you can see it's not reverting back to a default set time but a pre-set amount of time.
Kcom said it is nothing to do with them and it's an issue with the phone but I can't see how because the phone pulls the information from the phone line.
I'm awaiting a response from the phone manufacturer.

Any ideas?

I use an old landline, you just make do without caller ID

My old copper line, on an incoming call, seemed to correctly set/sync the date and time. Now, my VoIP, only seems to correct the time, and the day - the month, and year seems to not be corrected.

Didn't have a choice with fibre. I would love to have kept the old copper. We have lost the 1571 answerphone, caller Id makes it up as it goes along and phoneline doesn't work in a powercut but hey - welcome to the future!

Glad it's not just me. My old copper system with my 15+ year old caller ID was perfect. The new fibre appears to be 323 days and 10 hours out.

I was able to keep the old landline phone when they swapped from copper to fibre. The handset itself was25 plus years old but had the internal capability to be used as an answerphone

Likewise, I kept our original number.

Mine are around 15 years old, a DECT set of four phones, working with a base. The base also includes a digital answerphone.
