By that logic, do you believe that women who were abused years ago should stay silent forever?It's astonishing that schoolyard gossip from 50 years ago makes front-page news. It certainly speaks to his current political influence if people are digging that deep, but it feels like a serious stretch for modern accountability.
After all, many often only speak out when they feel they are ok to do so, or a high profile case prompts them...
It's quite likely had garbage not become a political figure he'd simply be out there hanging flags at half mast and painting roundabouts...
And no-one would have been any the wiser...
But due to the fact that he aspires to be leader of the UK, then many people obviously believe that people should know about his views that go way back...
Or do you believe that he is the only political figure whose past has been questioned?
Or that the character of any political leader should not be looked into?
