What anyone with any sense is talking about is reducing or stopping the numbers coming in, at least while there's a desperate housing shortage, mass unemployment and the country's utterly skint.

We're definitely "stuck with" some. Many good people came to the UK, especially in the past. I'm not very impressed with some of the more recent arrivals. We may be able to get rid of some of the dross, if they have a fixed period of stay then that can be ended.

I believe Reform are suggesting a £1000 goodbye gift to those who wish to leave. Sounds totally reasonable to me. Hopefully handed to them when they physically leave, not before, otherwise many would vanish back into the UK.
