why do people support Reform when they have no idea of their policies

Got to give labour time to turn the ocean liner around.

Next election is quite a while away yet. Things will change

If they don't change the captain pretty b----y soon the election will not be far enough away any more.

Might aswell give them a chance
Now the public is ready to roll the dice on an unknown who we don't already know is terrible. They may turn out to be, but there aren't any other credible choices. Labour and Tory parties are utter jokes.
So lets have a stab in the dark.

I can't think of a better response to those sort of ideas than IT Minion's

When you say labour and the Tories didn't manage something well, let's try Reform it's like saying that treating an infection with the two first line antibiotics didn't work, perhaps we should try setting the patient on fire.

By their very need to correct things anybody with a brain knew it was going to be tough.
Yeah, and when the Conservatives came to power, Labour had left things in tip top condition for them. It’s a wonder that labour were ever voted out, wasn’t it?

I can remember Gordon Brown selling our gold off cheaply, Blair going to war on a lie and the winter of discontent to name just a few. Can you remember any Labour fukups or have you erased them from your tiny memory?

Not to mention the small matter of Labour bringing in 20 million hostile foreigners to live at our expense.

Our system of politics always swings like this.

The longer any opposition has been in, the harder it is to turn or change things.

The best choice isn't to go back to what we were doing. But to change the style of our politics.

Move from fptp to pr for example.

Which would cost between £40 billion and £80 billion.

I quite like the idea of winning the lottery but, if the trade - off is that I have to spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair to get it, it becomes less appealing.
That's easy - cut spending too. It's out of control - loads of low-hanging fruit.

Cutting spending is the number one concern. Commies will never do it tho'.
Yep. That's the fundamental issue with having a government run by a party that's funded by the unions. They just want to waste money employing as many as possible to do non-jobs and pay them as much as possible.

They waste our money paying people to do nothing so they pay some of it to the unions, who pay some of that to the politicians.

When you strip it all back, it's basically corruption. The foxes are in charge of the hen house.

We are in a mess now with our lack of services because of all the cuts that were made

It's much dearer to reinstate them than just to keep them going.

Look at police and prisons for 2 simple examples.

Cutting waste, not services, is what's needed.

But the right wingers cut everything to make it look good to those that couldn't see.

You've just drawn that false connection between spending and services.

There are vast flocks of management and admin in all public services. Eating biscuits and doing powerpoint presentations to each other all day, contributing absolutely nothing to the public good. Many are getting insane salaries - people with absolutely no relevant qualifications getting six-figure salaries for sitting in a chair.

And reform hasn't found any waste.

Go figure. Something in your equation is not adding up
