OMG Demoted for ignoring a silly grievance from a girl who was out to cause problems for her fellow workers. He was trying to keep the peace and harmony around the station, poor bloke would have been hated if he acted upon it.

I agree poor bloke, but as he was the supervisor he should have acted, probably even if to just shut the whining up.

Maybe he is more of a life saving hero type of guy than a giving orders paper work type of guy?

Yes very possible that he is a hero, he probably was at his wits end with it and why should someone who has hurty feelings and receive a big payout then leave the job be above him? She might have been useless at the job for all we know.

That's an interesting point. If your job is manager or supervisor, are you not expected to uphold the employers standards and employment law, and the behaviour of your staff?

Of course but if you are a decorated brave hero type employee should you be pushed out if the supervisor role isn't really for you?
