Looking for one.

I had one back in the 80s, Legrand, 1984, with unsheathed live pins.

Had two screws securing the cover, rather than the usual one.

From memory, it was around 18mm.

I think they are well obsolete now, but is there another brand that is similarly svelte?

Yes, I remember such things well, and I'm sure I still have a few in-service.

However, a few months ago I could have done with another similar, but I searched high and low and could find nothing - so all I can really do is 'wish you luck' !

And it happily accepts 2.5mm² rubber!

They were one of my favourites for a while, very secure and took a 2.5mm cable with ease and 2 screws so added safety. I may still have some on unused amplifiers etc.

I'd only seen white, black and red before encountering that green one a few years ago in a rental property tripping RCD (look how it's wired!) I very well may still have it if it's wanted.

It didn't used to kill me that often...
Its more for children with small fingers pulling out the plugs..
I remember a call out early 80s where a bloke nearly died, he plugged in a kettle and the plug blew up, he said his son gave him the kettle.
On inspection there was what looked like 5 amp fuse wire wrapped between the L and N pins and pushed right down
I never told the bloke what i found, whether done as a joke or intent i dont know.
