Good old Greta

Is it a clear cut terrorism offence?

Yes or no
If you display something in public to reasonably suggest you support a proscribed terrorist group, you commit a strict liability offence.

Do you think it was a carefully worded message to trick plod into arresting her, without actually crossing the line?

Irrelevant.

Irrelevant.

So be it.

For MBK (lacks the legal nous)....
  • On Remand In the UK legal system, individuals held before trial are considered on remand and are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
Glad I could help educate you. (y)
the builder googles what being on remand is and doesn't realise there are thresholds that must be met for holding someone on remand. I wonder if he can google what those are?

Perhaps its previous criminal convictions, high possibility of doing a runner, failure to meet prior bail conditions? Oh wait.. it is.

I think he means 'no'.
You had a 50/50 chance I guess:

Police said Greta Thunberg was detained for displaying a placard in support of a proscribed organisation.

Fortunately for Greta, her placard read that she was in support of innocent prisoners.

The rest of your waffle is irrelevant.

Just in case you did not know, the 'prisoners' are awaiting trial.

You are not guilty if you are awaiting trial on remand; you are legally presumed innocent until proven guilty in court, even though you are held in custody (remand) until your hearing.

Glad I could help educate you. (y)

The proof will be in the action taken, and the prison sentence that follows such a clearcut terrorism offence
